Their purpose:Athletic/Citizen Diplomacy to help melt the ice curtain between the then Soviet Union and the US through the backdoor of the Bering Strait. This historic expedition symbolized friendship and cooperation as adventurers crossed the frozen Bering Strait, uniting indigenous communities and celebrating the shared history of Siberia and Alaska. Ginna will share captivating stories and insights from this groundbreaking expedition, offering a powerful reminder of the ties that bind us all.
